I fell into this type of advertising work somewhat by accident and by necessity for work. I wound up working in a corporate studio for ten years. A studio that prioritized individual creativity and quality of work over speed and volume - a rare thing then and even more so now. It was in that studio that I learned that one can bring beauty to virtually any object with the right setting, lighting, and thoughtful treatment. We worked with objects that spanned the spectrum from handmade Swiss watches to the silliest of cheap trinkets and we tried to approach every shoot with the same desire to make beautiful photographs.
